The RiffRaff Arts Collective, 865-869 Mercer Street

Enjoy the beautiful sounds of Princeton native & Nashville based songwriter Delnora Reed live in The Room Upstairs, a beautiful turn-of-the-century-ballroom turned small theater located in the Mercer Street Grassroots District of downtown Princeton. Delnora is an Entertainer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. She has been performing her signature blend of roots, country and folk music across the country since she was a teenager, continuing a long and distinguished family tradition in music. Delnora released her first album, “Delnora”, while still in high school, garnering airplay on Country Radio in the United States and in the United Kingdom. After graduating from Princeton Senior High School, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Concord University in just two and a half years while also being named one of the 10 “Best College Entertainers in America.” Soon thereafter, she moved to Nashville where she was signed to an Artist Development deal for a Major Record Label. Two subsequent major record label deals and a few independent projects have served to continue honing her craft. "Music’s in the bloodlines for Delnora Reed; her great-grandfather Henry Reed’s fiddle tunes are a centerpiece of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. Her own efforts, while steeped in old-time country and bluegrass, are considerably more contemporary. Such songs as “Sleepwalking” split the difference between Alison Krauss and Patty Griffin, with hushed sincerity and gutsy delivery." ~ K. Oliver Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Drinks & snacks are on the house!
